Gift it a try!

Why always look for something to buy if you can also make it yourself??!!! It will be innovative and personal, and it doesn’t have to be so much work. We’d like to present you a really great example for a self-made gift: a reading-relaxation-outdoor-cushion with two small pockets, one for (sun-)glasses and one for a book. Advantages: you don’t have to lay your head on the grass, and you can easily take everything with you. Everything you need to spend a relaxing afternoon in the park, reading, for that matter. You can transport it like a normal shoulder bag and it’s not heavy at all!

So how can you actually make the gift??? Fortunately, it’s pretty simple. You buy a white cushion and a bit of rag. You can also buy a cheap white shirt and cut it into pieces. (that’s what I did

Then you stitch the pieces of cloth to the cushion so that you get two pockets. You take another piece of cloth to turn the normal cushion into a shoulder bag. And don’t worry if you are not good at stitching, I really can’t do it properly and it doesn’t show. Or, at least it doesn’t matter =)

Ok, now you’re already at the last part which is also the fun part: you can take all your creativity together and just paint the cushion with whatever comes to your mind!!! This is the part that really makes the gift personal, so I won’t tell you what to paint. Have fun!!!
